Album Art
During the first lockdowns of the 2020 pandemic, my dear friend McLaren began working on the trove of music demos that filled his hard drive for years.
Perhaps out of anticipation, perhaps as a way to keep himself inspired and focused on releasing this music; McLaren wanted artwork ready for all of his planned singles.
He approached me knowing that I was desperate for projects with which I could fill my portfolio. I agreed to churn out album art for his upcoming tracks; he agreed to let me design whatever I wanted, as long as he was blown away by the finished product.
Alas, many of these songs were never released. Either they were forgotten as the pandemic began to subside, or the track was never satisfactory to McLaren’s ears… but at the very least, I held up my end of the bargain. McLaren was indeed blown away with every piece of art I sent him.
